CUSTODY RIGHTS PROJECT

On June 23, 2023, Just Mercy, a nonprofit organization, launched a campaign dedicated to conducting discussion seminars exclusively for divorcees and widows. These seminars focus on the custody of minor children, exploring the best possible arrangements for returning parents and evaluating whether custody is more suitable for the mother or the father. Global Car Care sponsors these campaigns with limited budgets, while Just Mercy anticipates future initiatives with increased funding and broader awareness, and action projects.

We held group meetings with women in their homes to discuss the importance of advocating for child custody and its benefits for children. Through seminars, we support divorcees and widows in navigating custody matters, focusing on the best arrangements for minor children, particularly those reuniting after absence. While maternal custody is often beneficial for stability and emotional security, this campaign advocates for equality between fathers and mothers, aiming to ensure the safest environment for children and encouraging parents to prioritize their children’s well-being.
